What keeps me in the business is hope, and that's the hope that women of color are also a part of the narrative, that our stories are just as potent, because we also have the power of transformation. We also have the power to be quirky, and sexy, and different, funny, heartfelt and all of those things.  "

Hello, there!

Welcome. I'm Jordanna (she/her). I'm a Queer Chicane, trauma-bustin', multi-hyphenate, neuro-divergent creative badass motherfucker. Born in Phoenix, AZ and raised by Mexican immigrant parents. I enjoy spicy food, good sneezes, flossing, and conversations that make me want to launch my existence into the abyss.

I act, write, and share stories of Chicanos, of daughters and their mothers, of first-generation Americans, socio-economic inequality, of mental health, of queerness, of the traumatized, of self-love and healing, of those yet to be seen. Other Stories are everyday stories.

I live to find the light in pain and trauma, put it into art, and heal the world.

Write me a hello!
